Strubens house

Located in Observatory, this 120-year-old Victorian home was sensitively renovated to invite natural light and modern livability into its heritage shell. The previously awkward bathroom access through the kitchen was reconfigured, giving way to an open-plan living area that connects to a private rear courtyard. Small, thoughtful interventions—like a servery window from the kitchen to the courtyard and a bathroom opening onto a planted outdoor area—bring a sense of play and openness. A livable front terrace further activates the home’s connection to the street, blending old charm with fresh functionality.
