Kenmore Bird feeder

Designed in collaboration with Mark Bullivant, the Kenmore Birdhouses are a sculptural series of feeders that support the WATER, EAT, PLAY needs of the birdlife inhabiting the slopes of Signal Hill and Lion’s Head. Inspired by the angular formations and silhouettes of Table Mountain, each piece maintains a refined, abstract form while offering purpose-driven functionality.

Fabricated from a single-folded sheet of powder-coated metal, the birdhouses respond to three themes: PLAY offers perforated shelter and natural perches; WATER features a handcrafted ceramic bowl for drinking and bathing; and EAT provides a feeding surface using fruit-holding spikes. Elevated at varying heights and finished in a Pantone-inspired gradient, the series brings a vibrant yet integrated presence to the garden—blending design, ecology, and sculpture in equal measure.
